Overseas Purchases, Shipping, and Tariffs – When purchasing hair or products from international third-party vendors for use at LXE Salons or through https://www.LXESalons.com, please be aware that U.S. import tariffs on hair extensions surged in 2025 (up to 145% in April, temporarily reduced to 30% as of May 14). On August 29, 2025, the $800 duty-free threshold was removed, which means all shipments now incur customs duties regardless of value. All tariffs and duties are determined by U.S. Customs and remain the purchaser’s responsibility. International carriers are experiencing longer customs clearance times and increased inspections, resulting in possible delays of 2–6 weeks. Shipping rates for bulk hair orders have increased, and some foreign postal services have suspended U.S.-bound deliveries. LXE Salons is not responsible for delays, duties, or costs associated with overseas vendors.
